Gifting Angels

The Neighbors Helping Neighbors Angelmobile, aka the North Brooklyn Angels serve hot lunch on Friday’s in front of Most Holy Trinity Church on Montrose Avenue.

In May of this year, the North Brooklyn Angels distributed 200 “Linens of Love”. Figuring there is no better time than the season of giving to give out more linens and other home essentials the North Brooklyn Angels mounted a full week of give-aways to neighbors in need of household and clothing items. Residents, local businesses, and community institutions collected a variety of precious items to be gifted including: new comforters, new bed linens, window dressings, personal hygiene items, new socks, wooly caps, and hand-embroidered fleece scarves.  These give-aways took place at the Angelmobile’s scheduled weekday stops, where they serve a free hot lunch.
