Stop Asian Hate Walk

Williamsburg residents gathered on the afternoon of March 27 to raise their voice and stand in unity with their Asian neighbors against the hate and violence that they have encountered. Vanessa Womble, chairperson of Lindsay Park Cooperative stated, “Although we have not had a recent attack we are here to say this behavior cannot be tolerated in our community.”

The anti-hate walk against Asian violence was held at Frances Sternberg Park across from Lindsay Park Cooperative. The Walk was organized by Assembly Member Maritza Davila and Lindsay Park resident Barbara Williams.
