El Puente brought their tradition of celebrating the Three Kings to the community via an outdoor event. In past years, performances were held inside the theater space at Grand Street Campus. Bomba Yo, as per usual, opened the celebration and summoned the spirit.
Co-founders, Frances Lucerna and Gino Maldonado greeted each participating group and spoke of the cultural significance of the Three Kings who shared their message of hope for the world through the gifts of peace, justice, and liberation.
