The Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America, Lodge #2428 celebrated their annual benefit on May 15. Andrew Anastasio and John D’Arienzo were recognized for community service.  D’Arienzo is active in the North Brooklyn community as a board member of St. Nicks Alliance and School Settlement Association, and owner of D’Arienzo Funeral Home. Detective Paul Digiacomo, who is also president of the Detectives Endowment Association, received the Law Enforcement Public Service Award. Mildred Mancusi, chairperson of NYS Arbitration Commission, was also an honoree.
