Mario Salerno proprietor of Salerno Auto Body and Service Station (451 Lorimer Street at Maujer Street). brightens his corner each Christmastime with a full on Christmas display. Mario has been building his display for over 30 years and has become a neighborhood institution.
“We create the display to give back to our community,” said Mario when asked what motivated him to create the treasured extravaganza. The display brings joy and happiness to young and old. Pictured above is part of the display and the Salerno elves who help assemble the holiday display and cheerfully serve their customers.
