The Giglio Boys Club love giving back to the neighborhood. In October they hold a raffle, a Giglio Tower power lift as part of a Columbus Day celebration. Then around Christmas they get Santa to drop by and give an estimated 1000 toys to the neighborhood kids each

year. This year has a particularly festive ring to it because the Giglio Boys Club celebrated their 20th anniversary. They hosted Santa on December 19th, and per usual James Nunziata, the club’s president, made the wine and supplied the spread which included pastries from Fortunato Brothers.
A quintet of singers from PS 250 gave a special surprise guest performance for the revelers and Santa. This talented five from the school’s choir of 60 3rd–5th graders spread joy with their set of carols led by their director, Ms. Nicole Levin the performing arts teacher at PS 250. Their principal, Roseann Lacioppa, was there to cheer them on. Santa gave the carolers teddy bears after they finished singing. The following Wednesday an even larger group from the choir sang at the Williamsburg Senior Center.
