Wok to Walk brings a new hot spot to 165 Bedford Avenue that will be “serving simple, sizzling Asian food in a flash, from wok to box” starting the first week in April. The Wok to Walk concept is a 3-step-menu of Asian components (base: noodles, cereals, or mix vegetables; favorites: meat, fish, chicken, tofu, vegetables, fruits, nuts; and sauces and toppings) that aids their customers in creating a customized meal.  Their first location opened in Amsterdam in 2004, and they now have a presence on four continents. Four Manhattan locations have opened and Bedford Avenue will be their first foothold in Brooklyn.

On Saturday, April 7th, Wok to Walk will open to the public with a soft opening that gives back to the community. Wok to Walk has the practice of choosing a community organization that is within the area of a new Wok to Walk.  The 165 Bedford Avenue Wok to Walk has chosen to benefit St. Nicks Alliance through offering a free menu and collecting donations on this date. There will be two sessions for service on the soft opening date (April 7): 11 a.m.–2 p.m. or 5 p.m. –8 p.m. The Grand Opening for this location will be on April 10th.
